Kei Nishikori to work with Brad Gilbert

Word has it that Kei Nishikori will work with Brad Gilbert starting 2011. The young Japanese player is considered as one of the IT players in the ATP tour. Many were expecting that Nishikori will show his true potential as a player. But unfortunately, he suffered a lot of injuries as well as his game did not go full steam. Hiring Gilbert is a wise decision considering that former has turned around the games of Andre Agassi, Andy Murray and Andy Roddick. It would definitely be an exciting for Kei as he enters into a new partnership with one of the most successful tennis coaches of all time.

Nishikori revealed the news on his Facebook page on Tuesday:
I made a couple of changes to my coaching team for 2011. I am starting to work full-time with Bollettieri Elite coach Dante Bottini. In addition to that, Brad Gilbert will consult the team and come with me to about 15 tournaments during the 2011 season. Very excited about this move. Brad was in Bradenton last week …and I will spend a couple of days at his house before going to Chennai.”
